Purpose of the YahTime application

YahTime is a mobile application for personal prayer and devotion. Its purpose is to help individuals keep eight daily prayer watches (evening through the ninth hour), record when each watch is completed, maintain a day-to-day streak of faithfulness, and receive optional reminders so the rhythm is easier to sustain. This website (yahtime.site) is the official public homepage for YahTime. You can learn about the app here without creating an account or signing in.

What YahTime does

  • Shows the eight prayer watches for the current liturgical day and lets you mark a watch as prayed while its window is open
  • Tracks prayer history and a streak based on completing enough watches each day
  • Optionally schedules local reminders for upcoming watches
  • Syncs your account data so progress is available when you sign in again on the same or another device

Why YahTime uses Google Sign-In

YahTime requests basic Google account information (such as your name, email address, and profile image) only to create or sign you into your YahTime account. We use that information to:

  • Identify your account securely
  • Associate prayer completions, streaks, and preferences with you
  • Sync your data across sessions and devices after you sign in

YahTime does not sell your Google account data and does not use it for advertising. You may also sign in with a phone number instead of Google. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
